Pretty Good

This wine is labelled vintage 2015 made using Shiraz grapes culled from the western ranges of the Barossa Valley region. With an alcohol volume of 13.5%, its base is coloured a dark red, with an opaque black core and purple hues around the meniscus. This is a sumptuous wine, the best Shiraz available from Barossa Valley, being a part of the famed Garden range of Two Hands. Lively aromas of black cherry, blackberry and blueberry greet the nose as fainter scents of acacia flowers trail along. Zesty flavours of fresh blackberry and blueberry with undertones of plum fill up the creamy palate, adding different layers of flavours and texture. Tannins begin at the mid-palate but do not overpower the palate flavours. The wine ends on a spicy finish with lingering aftertastes of vanilla and sweet baking spices. It tastes wonderful paired with Moroccan vegetable stew, rib-eye steak, spiced lamb chops or hard cheeses.
