Hamish, founder and owner of Aberdeen, came up with the idea of ‘Angus the Bull’. This idea obsessed him so much that it haunted him day and night, leading him to finally establish the Aberdeen Wine Company in the year 2003. This was the start of turning his dream into reality. He focused all his efforts on creating a unique wine brand that would be the perfect wine partner to prime beef. He decided to work exclusively with the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety and started searching for the best and juiciest grape parcels across the wine regions of Victoria and South Australia. His debut 2002 vintage wine, titled ‘The Bull’ was a ravishing success in the Australian wine market and since then, Hamish has constantly been climbing the ladder of success, creating elegantly - styled wines of supreme quality.
