Elderton Estate Family Vineyard Wines

Elderton is a family-owned winery and vineyard business based in Barossa Valley. The wine business was started by Neil and Lorraine Ashmead who moved to Barossa in 1979 and restored an 1894-planted vineyard situated on banks of North Para River. The Elderton label saw its first wine launch in 1982, produced with the help of famous Winemaker Peter Lehmann. The second generation of Ashmead family, Cameron and Allister, took the reins of the wine business in 2003 and work together to run Elderton Wines. The winery sources its fruit from their own vineyards located in Nuriootpa, Craneford and Greenock. The winery produces wines under 4 ranges - Elite Single Vineyards, Exceptional Sites, Estate Family Vineyards and E-Series. The Elderton Estate Family Vineyards range is a great collection of Barossa wines that have won numerous awards for their amazing flavours on the palate.
