Located in the cool-climate Adelaide Hills region, Nepenthe Wines is a highly-rated brand. It was established in the year 1994 by the Tweddell family with the purchase of a property in the picturesque Lenswood sub region for viticulture. The winery was built 2 years later. Since then, it has been producing wines of outstanding quality that have been recognised internationally. These beauties are crafted by Winemaker James Evers, who is also the Senior Winemaker at McGuigan.
Particularly known for amazing Pinot Gris & Shiraz wines, Nepenthe winery has won various awards and accolades, being featured in The UK Times Top 100, James Halliday’s Top 100, The International Wine Challenge, and The Advertiser Top 100. The company exports to all major markets including the UK and the US.
