Orlando Wines, Barossa Valley's first commercial winery, is located in the city of Rowland Flat, South Australia. The first vines that were cuttings of Rieslings from Germany were planted by founder Johann Gramp in 1847 in Barossa’s Jacobs Creek. The winery is currently owned by Pernod Ricard Winemakers - one of the largest Australian wine, spirits and beverage companies. Orlando Wines is best known as the producer of Jacob's Creek which is its main wine brand, operating since 1976 and exporting to over 60 countries. Jacob’s Creek is also known for being a prominent sponsor of the Australian Open since 2006.
