A fifth generation descendant of the famed Hunter Valley wine making dynasty, the Drayton family, Peter Drayton has forged his own independent way, embodying the audacious spirit and adventurous vision of his very early pioneering forefathers.
Peter Drayton Wines and IronBark Hill Vineyard lie at the foot of the Brokenback Range, in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country. Our 100 acre property, with 40 acres under vine, grows grapes for which the Hunter Valley is famous, including Chardonnay, Shiraz and Semillon, as well as niche varieties including Tyrian, Montepulciano and Barbera.
