Three Ponds Wines

Three Ponds is a label operating under Mount Eyre - producers of premium Hunter Valley Wines. Owned by the Tsironis and Iannuzzi families, Three Ponds winery combines European and modern Australian traditions of winemaking and viticulture. The Three Ponds vineyard, located in Broke, Hunter Valley, lies on the sandy loam river flats of Monkey Place Creek. With its first vines planted in 1970 by Neil Grosser, the vineyard now produces Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Chambourcin, and some experimental varietals. The property is managed carefully by Neil and his son David. The winery also draws Shiraz, Merlot and Viognier grapes for its premium red wines from Mount Eyre Vineyards’ second property located in Pokolbin, the Holman Estate.
