WHY DO WE LIKE THIS WINE
This deep red and purple-hued drink releases dark blackberry, cassis and blood plum aromas with nuances of varietal leafiness and subtle, savoury oak. Full of rich flavours, the palate is smooth and generous with fine structural tannins and lingering fruit. After fermentation, 19% of the wine is matured in French oak barrels for 3 months to accentuate the structure and complexity keeping the character and vibrancy of the fruit intact. Served best with lamb loin chops with mint pesto, or beef stir-fry with peppers and spring onions.
