Pretty Good

: Bright red cherry colour with a crimson hue. Seductive aromas of dark cherry, dried rose petals, thyme and damp earth. Beautifully varietal, elegant and long on the palate. Medium weight red fruit richness and fine-grained tannins are drawn out long across the palate by acidity to create a finish which is savoury and dry. Recommended Cellaring: 5 to 7 years from vintage.

WINERY INFORMATION:

Martinborough enjoys a climate that is closely aligned with the famous cool climate regions of Burgundy, the Loire Valley and Marlborough. Martinborough is the driest and warmest part of the wider Wairarapa/Wellington region, particularly in the critical late summer and autumn period. From this melange of parcels, the grapes are hand-picked and fermented with indigenous yeasts before spending 8 months in small French oak barrels without racking to produce our Te Muna Road Pinot Noir - a dark and brooding wine with a silky layered texture that provides interest and complexity.
