Pretty Good

Madfish Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is a blend of six grape varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon (54%), Merlot (35%), Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Tempranillo and Shiraz (11% in total for these remaining varieties). It flaunts a deep ruby red colour with garnet hues. The wine exudes black and blue berry fruit aromas with hints of freshly rubbed dry herbs from the bouquet. The palate is rich, fleshy and flavoured with blackberry, mushroom and floral notes. Ripe fruit tannins are well structured due to French oak use. Team it up with steak, or caramelised onion on ciabatta with little watercress and mustard.
