A straw coloured Sav Blanc, it will please you with its lovely melon and herbaceous fragrances. These fragrances are followed by a clean and up front palate revealing citrus and melon flavours. Partial French oak barrel fermentation adds to the complexity of the drink. It eventually culminates in a soul-satisfying finish. You may pair it with delicate fish, oysters or roasted chicken.
WINERY INFORMATION
The establishment of Silkwood Estate winery dates back to 1998. The estate is set amidst the towering Karri forests, covering an area of over 20 hectares. It was purchased by Bowman family in 2006. They aim to produce quality wines from the finest fruit in order to allow the grape characteristics to shine.
