Katnook Estate Wines

Katnook Estate lies in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region in South Australia, approximately halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne, just north of the Penola district. Katnook is famous for being the vineyard site of the first commercial Coonawarra vintage wine produced by wine pioneer John Riddoch in the year 1896. In the 1980s, Wayne Stehbens used the original Riddoch winery to craft his own brand of wines. Wayne is a renowned winemaker with decades of winemaking experience and a host of awards under his hat. The 200 - hectare Katnook Estate consists of some of the finest vineyards in all of Australia.
