Black Cottage Wines

At the Black Cottage, we are dedicated to producing a range of wines full of ‘gusto’. Combining select parcels of fruit with modern and alternative winemaking techniques, we strive to create very special wines which are approachable and delicious. The Black Cottage, situated in the heart of the Wairau Valley, is where winemaker David Clouston lives and spends quality time with friends and family. It is also the quiet space in which he contemplates and constructs the very special wines on which he has built a fine reputation.
